Message From the Chair
The Professional Program in Nursing at UW-Green Bay specializes in RN to BSN education. We recognize that completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing can open doors to new professional opportunities and create personal satisfaction for nurses. Employers want nurses prepared at the highest levels possible so that they are equipped to deal with the complexities of healthcare in the 21st century.
The UW name is recognized nationally for excellence in education. UW-Green Bay offers a high quality, user-friendly program with flexible transfer policies and excellent student support. The curriculum prepares nurse leaders, critical thinkers, effective communicators, managers, advocates, teachers, change agents, and providers of care who use autonomous nursing interventions as well as culturally congruent and ethically sound nursing care. Our faculty are knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and experienced in teaching adult learners.
As a leader in RN to BSN education, we offer three tracks to allow access to any RN currently licensed by any state in the United States. “BSN-LINC” has been designed for students living outside of Wisconsin looking to complete their BSN degree online. “BSN@Home” is the online track for Wisconsin students. Our “Campus Track” is for students living within driving distance of Green Bay wishing to attend “face to face” classes on our campus.
Join us in advancing your education and becoming an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
