Grading Procedures
One-third of the grade will be determined by the average of three history-theory exams
(90%) and analysis assignments (10%); one-third of the grade will be determined by an
average of the three listening exams, the original composition and the writing emphasis
assignment; one-third of the grade will be determined by the average of ear-training and
sightsinging exams.
Exams missed for reasons other than illness or performance conflict will not be made up.
More than three unexcused absences will adversely affect the final grade.
