Exam Proctoring

Individuals needing a test proctor may arrange for such assistance through Testing Services. You must check with us BEFORE you contact your school for approval to have the exam(s) sent here to ensure that we are willing/available to proctor! The student, not the proctor, is responsible for making sure test materials arrive in time for the proctoring of the exam. It is advised to plan well in advance, at least 2 weeks or more. It should not be the responsibility of the proctor to try and accommodate someone at the last minute who has not planned in advance for testing services needed. There is no charge for this service for students currently enrolled at UW-Green Bay who are taking distance ed courses through another institution. All other individuals must pay a $20.00 fee per test administration (i.e., for each test proctored). (Testing Services does not provide proctoring for current UW-Green Bay students taking UW-Green Bay online or in-person courses.) If an individual misses 2 appointments, they will need to pay a non-refundable fee of $10.00 prior to rescheduling. Online/internet testing is available contingent upon the proctoring/monitoring criteria of the accrediting institution. Individual test arrangements are made by contacting the Coordinator of Testing Services at 920-465-2221 or gilsonp@uwgb.edu.

Students looking for a test proctor outside the Green Bay, Wisconsin area are encouraged to locate a proctor through the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC). The CCTC is a group of college and university testing centers throughout the United States and other parts of the world. Its purpose is to make test administration services available to students at locations away from their own campuses. These services are provided in traditional paper-pencil formats as well as by on-line, web-based servers at some sites.
