Achievement Gap Documentary - Filming at the Conference

NEWIST/CESA 7, ETP-NEW, Green Bay and Wisconsin Public Television will be producing a television documentary addressing the achievement gap as it relates to race and poverty. The project began in September, 2010 and will be completed in June 2011. Funders for this important project are from the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. At the conference we hope to interview participants and presenters who are addressing these important issues. We are particularly interested in finding projects and students that have helped bridge the achievement gap. The Conference for us is fact finding, locating successful projects and finding students who have succeeded in spite of the achievement gap related to race and poverty. If you have a success story, please contact one of the conference staff. Filming will be taking place in the Olry Room.
