| Theme: War, Bereavement and Resilience A symposium designed for social workers, licensed professional counselors, funeral directors, pastoral associates, clergy, nurses and other human services professionals. Throughout human history, war and its aftermath have permeated our lives. Bereavement professionals work daily with those who are struggling with multiple losses, including death, unresolved grief, post-traumatic stress disorders and other consequences of war on both veterans and civilians. Workshop sessions will explore the grief-related consequences of war and the strategies people need to make peace. Date, Time, Location: |
All proposals must be received by June 15, 2008.
The conference program committee will notify you of their decision in late July. Conference presenters receive a discounted registration. Please note: all presenters are responsible for their own workshop attendance fees. The total registration fee for presenters is $50, payable by November 1, 2008. This fee is reduced from the regular registration fee of $99 and covers the cost of refreshments, lunch, handouts, CEU certificate and parking.
