GENERAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Performances

Plan to attend the play The Good Body, by Eve Ensler, Friday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. or the 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, April 5th at the Christie Theatre on the UW-Green Bay campus.

Play Description: Whether undergoing Botox injections or living beneath burkhas, women of all cultures and backgrounds feel compelled to change the way they look in order to fit in, to be accepted, to be 'good.' Merging these cross-cultural explorations with her own personal journey to come to terms with her 'less-than-flat, post-40s stomach, Eve Ensler (Vagina Monologues) turns her unique eye to the rest of the female form in her newest work, The Good Body. Tickets are free to conference participants with advanced registration. See Conference registration form.

Also plan to attend the performance by rising singing star on the folk music circuit, Ellis, Saturday, April 5th at 8:00 PM. Known for her vibrant and open-hearted nature and contagious sense of humor, Ellis’ music is described as joyful, unpretentious modern folk with a slight hint of country inspired by her southern roots. Tickets are not necessary for conference participants.
