Eric serves as the Director of Marketing and Recruitment with the Office of Adult Degree Programs and is responsible for all of the marketing and promotion of the program in Northeast Wisconsin and beyond. His primary goals are to raise awareness of opportunities for adult learners in Northeast Wisconsin to earn a University of Wisconsin Bachelor's Degree, and to work with local employers to make UW-Green Bay's degree programs accessible to their employees. Eric has served at UW-Green Bay since 2004. Before coming to UWGB, he served at a number of other institutions in Iowa, North Carolina, and Wisconsin and has experience running his own business.
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an Emphasis in 18th Century British Literature and his masters degree in Counselor Education and Student Development - both from The University of Iowa. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison.
Eric lives in Marinette with his wife, Sue, and two daughters - Mary Kristen and Katherine "Katie-Bug" - and the fattest cat he has ever seen. His passion for literature that blossomed in college persists today and he is interested in history - specifically focused on 19th century America and the American Civil War. Eric loves to travel and vacation with his family and also enjoys food, movies, golf. |
