Train-the-Trainer Upcoming Programs

*After successfully completing the Train-the-Trainer courses, through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, it will take approximately 4-6 weeks for the CBRF Training and Registry Services (CCDET) to approve applications. Please plan accordingly if scheduling CBRF trainings.*


Save $500 when taking all four Train-the-Trainer programs.

  • Medication Administration: Train-the-Trainer
  • Standard Precautions: Train-the-Trainer
  • Fire Safety: Train-the-Trainer
  • First Aid/CPR/AED + CBRF Bridge: Train-the-Trainer

Save $300 when taking three Train-the-Trainer programs.

  • Medication Administration: Train-the-Trainer
  • Standard Precautions: Train-the-Trainer
  • Fire Safety: Train-the-Trainer

    Or

  • Medication Administration: Train-the-Trainer
  • Standard Precautions: Train-the-Trainer
  • First Aid/CPR/AED + CBRF Bridge: Train-the-Trainer

One person can take all three or four courses or an organization/agency may send up to three or four people to attend each individual Train-the-Trainer course and receive the savings.

 

Medication Administration: 2.5 Day Course, $1,400

Times:
Monday and Tuesday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day
Wednesday- 8:00 am to 11:30 am, Adult Education
For Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, and Fire Safety, the same required adult education component is offered for all participants at the same time enabling participants to take all three programs. This course is offered on the third day of training from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

Includes instruction, materials, lunch and beverages.

 

Standard Precautions: 1 Day Course, $500

Times:
Wednesday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Adult Education is from 8:00 am to 11:30 am)

Fire Safety: 1.5 Day Course, $1,000

Wednesday- 8:00 am to 11:30 am, Adult Education
Thursday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED & CBRF Bridge Course: 2 Day Course, $1,100

Continuing Education

Continuing Education Day for Train-the-Trainers, $129
(6 CEHs)

Continuing Education hours are accepted by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and the Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL) for Certified Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Instructors. Completion of each Continuing Education Workshop provides 6 CEHs. CBRF Instructors may be required to take up to 12 hours of continuing education classes related to the subject area for which they are approved. Check your personal renewal information from the Center for Career Development and Employability Training (CCDET) for specific information regarding your renewal requirements.

Dates, Times and Locations:

All programs start at 8:00 am and run till 3:00 pm. Registration is at 7:30 am.

 

Webinars

$39 (1 CEH)

Each participant will need access to a computer and speakers.

Cancellation Policy:

A full refund, minus a $25 processing charge, is given when cancelling 10 days or more before the event; an 80% refund, minus the $25 processing charge is given when cancelling within 6 days of the event. No refund is issued 5 or fewer days prior to the event. A substitute may attend in your place. In case of low enrollments we reserve the right to cancel programs and return a full refund.
