Unlocking the Puzzle — Finding Solutions in Falls Prevention and Other Challenges

Do you deal with a resident who falls often? Ever become frustrated running out of ideas to prevent frequent falls? Falls can impact an assisted living facility’s census, resident quality of life, liability risks and employee retention rates. In this hands-on training, you will identify ways to increase your toolkit of prevention resources and learn how to tackle difficult situations. Unlocking the Puzzle will explore ways to spot trends that are occurring at your assisted living community and give you the ability to develop a resident-centered plan that reduces falls with proven, evidence-based methods.

Upon Completion Participants Will Know How to:

  • Spot trends and utilize root cause analysis to develop a plan
  • Identify and maximize fall mitigation resources
  • Link resources to develop a comprehensive individual service plan
