11/6/06 — November puts the Sciences under the Microscope

In November, we turn our Phone-A-Thon attention to those alums with majors in Human Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Earth Science, Physics, Environmental Science, Ecosystems Analysis, Environmental Control, Human Adaptability, Nutritional Sciences, and Science and Environmental Change. Student callers will be on the phones from November 12-15 (6 to 8:45 p.m. CST) in the hopes of reaching over 2,200 alumni.

10/10/06 — October Features a Focus on Human Development and Psychology

For the month of October, we turn our Phone-A-Thon attention to those alums with majors in Human Development, Psychology, Growth and Development, as well as alums who earned their Master's in Community Human Services. Student callers will be on the phones from October 15-19 (6 to 8:45 p.m. CST) in the hopes of reaching over 2,600 alumni.

9/13/06 — Pick-up the Phone. . . It's Alumni Phone-A-Thon Time!

The 10th Annual UW-Green Bay Alumni Phone-A-Thon will be starting in mid-September as we attempt to reach over 23,000 alumni to update information and generate financial support for UW-Green Bay. We've broken our alumni into groups (by area of study) and student callers will be contacting certain majors each month. Funds raised through the Phone-a-Thon help support student scholarships and student learning opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom.

The September calling schedule will run from Sunday, September 17 through Thursday, September 21 with calling taking place between 6 to 8:45 p.m. Areas of study targeted for September include Social Work, Nursing, Extended Degree, individual majors, and more.
