Elective Credits

FALL SEMESTER:

One Credit

• attend a one hour training session
• visit assigned school before and after the field trip day
• be a “tour guide” for a day
• make at least 3 contacts with your assigned students
• be a positive role model to 5th graders
• students must track and verify hours spent with children

Two Credits
All the involvement that 1 credit has, plus:

• 15 hours working with 6 - 12th grade students in our extension program.
• will require a background check & TB test -$35.00 (more information)
• a log of hours will be required

Three Credits
All requirements for 1 and 2 credits, plus:

•  30 hours working with 6 - 12th grade students in our extension program.

SPRING SEMESTER:

One Credit

• attend a one hour training session
• be a positive role model
• students must track hours spent with children
• Minimum of 15 hours (about 1 hour per week) working with 6 -12th grade students in our extension program.
• Will require a background check and TB test - $35.00 (more information)

Two Credits
All the involvement that 1 credit has, plus:

• 30 hours (about 2 hours per week) working with 6 -12th grade students in our extension program

Three Credits
All the involvement that 1 credit has, plus:

• 45 hours (about 3 hours per week) working with 6 -12th grade students in our extension program
