Fields of interest: American government and politics; public policy analysis; Congress and legislative processes; environmental, energy, and population policy.

Current research: business and environmental policy; the effects of the Toxics Release Inventory and other information disclosure policies on business and citizens; nuclear waste policy; citizen participation in environmental decisionmaking.
