STARS OF THE FUTURE is a two-week residential program for aspiring middle school aged ESL Spanish students.
Students participate in a variety of activities to sharpen their oral and written communication skills.
As a participant, you will learn the technical and creative aspects of television production and will apply these skills to
the production of several video clips and public service announcements. You will work from the idea phase through the
writing, acting, filming and editing. In addition to reinforcing language development skills, the production process
will enrich social skills, teach teamwork and develop creativity. Stars of the Future is a bilingual (Spanish and English)
program that stresses cultural pride and identity available for students entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.
Busing service for eligible students is available from various locations throughout Wisconsin.
Scholarships are available to those who qualify through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Precollege
