She reports to the Chancellor and serves as the University’s senior administrative officer in the absence of the Chancellor.

Associate Provost Sewall works under the direction of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to provide leadership and coordinate activities that promote an enriching academic experience for students including FOCUS (First-Year Opportunities and Connections for UWGB Students), international education programs and credit summer course offerings. Responsibilities also include oversight of institutional programs and services that support student learning and instruction including institutional research, assessment and faculty professional development activities. Academic Affairs budget management and commencement ceremony planning are additional areas of responsibility.

Assistant Vice Chancellor Marinetti works under the direction of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to assist the provost with oversight and coordination of academic policies, budgeting, planning, recruitment of faculty and staff, facilities usage and personnel record keeping. Areas of additional attention will be oversight of the Institute for Research, Student Affairs budgeting including student fee allocations, and organization of both May and December commencement ceremonies.

Judi provides executive assistance to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Duties include general administration of correspondence, reports, and requests; ensuring important/urgent matters are addressed by the Provost; coordinating and maintaining the Provost's calendar; assisting in the development of the Provost/Vice Chancellor's budget and planning documents; implementing and monitoring the Provost's office annual operating budget; and serving as office manager for the Provost's office. Judi also facilitates the lead academic department associates team activities on behalf of the Provost. She currently serves on the University Planning Committee and previously served on the Strategic Budgeting Committee.
Jan Snyder

Jan provides administrative assistance to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs/Director of Graduate Studies, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Administration, the Institutional Research Director, and the Testing Services Coordinator, as well as backup assistance to the Provost. She also monitors budget activity for these areas, as well as the FOCUS program and the Classified Staff Advisory Council. Jan assists with arrangements for professional development activities, on-site visits from outside agencies, and various campus events including commencement ceremonies.

Mary provides administrative support to the Secretary of the Faculty and Academic Staff, faculty and academic staff governance committees, and the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs. Her responsibilities also include maintenance of the governance and personnel files for all faculty and teaching academic staff, monitoring budget expenditures for SOFAS, and serving as the Provost Office receptionist. Mary currently serves on the Classified Staff Advisory Council.
