Associate Provost Kersten works under the direction of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to provide leadership and coordinate activities that promote an enriching academic experience for students including FOCUS (First-Year Opportunities and Connections for UWGB Students), international education programs and credit summer course offerings. Responsibilities also include oversight of institutional programs and services that support student learning and instruction including institutional research, assessment and faculty professional development activities. Academic Affairs budget management and commencement ceremony planning are additional areas of responsibility.
