Dr. Vespia has published journal articles and a book chapter on topics such as career development, clinical supervision/counselor development, and mental health services on college campuses. She is particularly interested in multicultural and gender issues, particularly as these relate to vocational development, education, and mental health. She has experience working with local mental health and human service organizations such as Connections for Mental Wellness and Golden House, particularly in terms of evidence-based practices. Dr. Vespia has facilitated community and campus presentations on topics related to college student mental health, mental health issues in the workplace, cultural competence, and microaggressions.
