Campus Emergency Response Guidelines

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Campus actively reviews and practices our emergency response to serious situations such as tornados, fire, and other hazards.  The key to emergency response is getting the right people involved as soon as possible.  The following resources are available to communicate additional emergency guidelines:

  • Emergency Plans available on the UW-Green Bay Website, http://www.uwgb.edu/publicsafety/emergency/index.htm
  • Yellow Emergency Action Guides are posted near the classroom entrance doors and in common areas
  • Emergency Management or Volunteer Emergency Support Team

In the event of an emergency, communication methods to notify students, staff, and visitors may include:

  • Public Address System in academic buildings
  • Pop Up computer messages to all campus network computers
  • Website updates on the upper right corner of the UW-Green Bay website
  • Emergency website activation at http://emergency.uwgb.edu

Students are encouraged to contact their family and friends in the event of an emergency to provide status updates.
