The University of Wisconsin Green Bay Research Council (RC) began supporting faculty through internal funding in 1994 as an effort to enhance the ability of the university to realize its potential for distinction in research, creative, and scholarly activities in all fields of study.
Our mission

  • Teaching

    Through its Grants for Integrating Research and Teaching, the Research Council seeks to support faculty activities that integrate scholarly work and teaching.

  • Research

    Through its Grants in Aid of Research and Research Scholars programs, the Research Council aims to help faculty develop and strengthen their scholarly activities.

  • Service

    Research Council programs offer opportunities for faculty to engage in projects with outcomes that can strengthen local communities.
