"Presenter and Session co-Chair: 56th Annual Conf on Great Lakes Research"

Grant in Aid of Research

Final Report: "Funds for this project help support partial costs of attending the 56th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research held at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in June of 2013. I co-chaired, along with Ed Verhamme and Dave Recinski from LimnoTech in Ann Arbor, MI., Session: 47. Using Data and Models to Link Nutrient Loads to Eutrophication Impacts. As part of the session, I delivered an oral presentation on landscape sources of phosphorus to Lower Green Bay that summarized recent data from Dolan, et al., the USGS, and our watershed work. In total, the session included ten research presentations and was attended by 80 to 100 people. A key outcome of my in-person participation at the Conference on Great Lakes Research was development of collaborations with scientists from LimnoTech that ultimately led to a successful grant application that was funded by the University of Michigan Water Center later in the summer of 2013."
