
Grants-in-Aid of Research
UW- Green Bay's
Research Council is please to accept proposals for the Grants-in-Aid
of Research Program:
The
Research Council invites members of the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay faculty to submit proposals to be considered
for small Grants in Aid of Research. The funds must be used in
support of faculty research. The number of applications received and
the amount of funding available for distribution in each grant cycle
will determine the number of awards that can be made. While all
proposals will be considered, preference will be given to tenure
track faculty and those individuals who have not received funding
recently
Goal: To encourage continuing research endeavors by UW-Green Bay faculty.
Applications: Application materials should
include the following materials. They must be submitted
electronically to
stresearch@uwgb.edu by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24,
2008.
Priorities:
First
Data and/or
materials collection for research, exhibition or performance
projects. Awards are made up to a maximum of $600. Proposals may
include requests for up to $300 for travel within the United States, and up to $600 for travel elsewhere. In addition,
requests for necessary supplies and materials such as the following
are also eligible:
· Purchase/rental
of equipment
· Student
help
· Telephone
and FAX costs
· Data
base searches
· Copying
costs
Second
Travel to a
national, regional (multi-state), or international conference at
which the faculty member has been invited or selected to give a
research presentation. The amount that will be allocated for this
purpose will be a maximum of $300 for travel within the United
States, $600 for travel elsewhere. Faculty members
requesting these funds would be attending the conference to deliver
an accepted paper or presentation.

Grant
proposals must contain an appropriate cover page.

Proposal Narrative.
Maximum length: 3 pages.

Budget of Expenses.
Submit a budget of expenses, including a summary of how the
funds will be spent. Maximum length: one page.

Curriculum Vitae.
Please limit to relevant
scholarly work. Maximum length: two pages.
