  • Your address, phone number, and personal email address (not your school email)
  • Your current grade level, your school email, and your cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average)

Personal Statement

We want to know that you are ready for this commitment. There is a short answer question that gives you a chance to tell us about yourself and why you are interested in Upward Bound Programs. Please provide a thoughtful response and write in complete sentences, with good spelling and grammar. It’s okay to use a first person voice – I, me, etc. You can type your essay directly into the online form, but we suggest writing it out ahead of time using Word or Google Docs and then copy and paste it into the online form.

You will respond to the following prompt: "Share why you are interested in Upward Bound Programs. Include your educational and career goals and how Upward Bound will support you achieve them."
