Apple Os x Wireless Laptop Configuration

Follow these steps to establish an Apple OS X wireless connection via your router:

  1. Click on the Wireless icon in the upper right corner of the Macintosh desktop. Select Other...



  2. From the "Closed Network" window make the following changes:

    1) Set the Network Name to your assigned router name. (This was supplied by the Computer Service Center.)
    2) Set Wireless Security to "WPA Personal".
    3) Fill in the WPA Key you created within the Router configuration steps. (This is an 8-digit password.)
    4) Click OK.
