Text Box: This in more of an on-going project that we are starting.... it is in an effort to raise awareness of gender non-conforming people and to protest the discrimination they face for not conforming to gender definitions. In the phrase "gender nonconforming" I mean anyone that does not let the sex they were born into determine their gender expression this includes the trans community and anyone else that fits the nonconforming definition... like masculine women or feminine guys or even agendered people! Drag performers and gender benders also included! January 30th is the first day of action and the night of the 29th I and whomever is brave enough to do so are buzzing our hair off and showing our support with t-shirts and facts... I am also putting together a booth for that day with facts and information regarding gender nonconformity and discrimination. We ask you to raise awareness in whatever way you choose! Be it wearing a special project gender t-shirt or just being your gender nonconforming self! Just do something to let people know! Join the Project Gender facebook group and help get this going!
