  • Freshman level introductory courses in the Humanities: Foundations of Western Culture I and II - Both in class and on line.

  • Lower level : History of the Middle Ages

  • Upper level Humanities courses: Perspectives on Human Values: The Medieval World and various Themes in the Humanities and Great Works.

  • Upper level History courses: History of Christianity; History of the Middle Ages and History of Ancient and Medieval Women.

Specialized teaching:

June 2005 “Sex and the Holy City” - week-long seminar at Center for Inquiry, at State University of Binghamton. Included topics: “Sex in the Bible,” “Sex in the Desert”, “Sex and the Law” “Sex and Medicine,” “Human identity.”

Spring 2007, 2009 “Medieval Travel Accounts,” “Mysticism and Religious Experiences,” “World Religions” - taught at Semester at Sea while circumnavigating the globe.

Fall 2007- Spring 2008 “Religion in America” for Lakeland College
