Effective communication is critical for successful supervision and leadership. Learn what good communication looks like and sounds like. Identify the communication styles of others and yourself. Beyond the words we use, what do people see in our eyes, gestures and body language? Do we command attention, motivate and engage our audience?

Participants in this workshop will gain confidence in extemporaneous delivery and formal presentations. Enhance communication skills and build more productive working relationships for yourself and your organization. Learn by doing in this activity-filled seminar. Participants will have an opportunity to practice the skills they learn. Yes, you’ll get to give a short speech!

Instructor:

Terra L. Fletcher is a professional speaker, writer and self-proclaimed geek. Awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 by the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce, she has been teaching others to quit their day jobs. Terra has spoken at “That Conference” — a summer camp for geeks and Radio Show 2017 (National Association of Broadcasters). Terra has trained staff from the National Association of Tax Professionals, the American Counseling Association of Missouri, Prevea Health and Georgia Pacific. She doesn’t fast-forward through previews and goes to the beach as often as Wisconsin weather allows.
