Kim nielsen
Associate Professor


Kim Nielsen received her Ph.D. in 1996 from the University of Iowa. She teaches women's history as well as interdisciplinary women's studies courses. Dr. Nielsen's most recent books, The Radical Lives of Helen Keller and Helen Keller: Selected Writings, are published by New York University Press. Her previous publications includes Un-American Womanhood: Antiradicalism, Antifeminism, and the First Red Scare (Ohio State University Press), as well as articles on topics such as Helen Keller, right-wing women, and women's peace activism. Significant international experience in Iceland.
