During the semester I will be posting some powerpoint notes that outline course lectures:

  1. Introduction to databases, related concepts, and storage structures.
  2. Online appendix D.
  3. E-R diagrams.
  4. Designing tables from E-R diagrams.
  5. Creating tables in SQL Server.
  6. Structured Query Language (SQL).
  7. SQL Server: Procedures and Views.
  8. C# and .NET controls.
  9. Normalization.
  10. Relational Algebra and Optimization.
  11. Multiuser access.

We will use C# and ADO.NET to build database applications and I will provide two demo programs. When they are ready I will make them available below.

  1. Zipped copy of a C# solution to display Packer player information.
  2. Zipped copy of a C# solution to simulate some university activities.
