As a member of SHRM, you will have the opportunity to network with many Human Resource professionals employed at many of Wisconsin's leading companies. You will also get to know many students at UWGB who are interested in the things you are interested in. We are planning many activities to help you familiarize yourself with aspects of HR Management, and have arranged for many HR professionals to come and speak on a variety of topics. By joining SHRM you will also receive a leading practitioner journal delivered to your mailbox which may help you in many of your management classes.

We have a terrific Professional Chapter that helps us in many ways -- internships, job shadowing, mentoring and advice.  You are always welcome at the Professional Chapter meetings!  Check out when they are and attend so that you can network.  Many of our members have found internships by going to these meetings!
