Mr. Mattila joined the faculty in 2005. He has over fifteen years practice experience with children and families in child welfare and family court services agencies, and many years of experience as a social work lecturer and trainer. His clinical interests include direct social work practice with children, couples and families, with a specialization in family and divorce mediation. His practice interests include child welfare, forensic social work and adult education. He is committed to helping prepare the next generation of social workers to meet the needs of our society's most vulnerable children and families.
