Business Administration has replaced BUA 215 Intro to Business Statistics and BUA 217 Advanced Business Statistics with a new course BUA 216 Business Statistics. Courses that had required either of BUA 215 or 217 (ACCTG 312 and 414 and BUA 382, 424, 442, and 452) will now require BUA 216 - approved by BUA Chair and Dean for Spring 2011.

COMP SCI 256 Software Design I - minor change of prerequisites eliminating COMP SCI 161, approved by ICS chair and Dean for Fall 2010
HUB 402 Human Physiology - minor change in prerequisites making course available only to HUB majors and minors, approved by HUB chair and Dean for Fall 2010
HUB 351 Kinesiology - minor change in prerequisites making HUB 204 a required prerequisite approved by Dean for Fall 2010
HUS all courses cross listed with First Nations Studies no longer have a cross listed number in HUS (requirements are unaffected) - a minor change approved by FNS Chair, HUS Chair, AAC, and Dean for Fall 2010.
MUSIC 483X Piano Pedagogy: Teaching - an experimental course, approved by AVD chair and Dean for Spring 2011.
Code changes to chapters 3 and 51 of the Faculty Handbook have been approved by the Board of Regents. The changes were not intended to change practices but simply to eliminate redundancy and clarify rules.
They have been incorporated into the on-line version of the Faculty Handbook available on the SOFAS website.
Governance Structures and Policies
A few governance committees have updated charges from the Provost and discussions are beginning about the creation of some joint committees.
