Where do you work and what do you do?
I am an Advisor to students with disabilities and the Accommodations Manager in the Disability Services Office, AND I am the Tutoring Services Coordinator for campus. I work with students and faculty to ensure that disability accommodations are provided. As TS Coordinator, I have restructured the program and how services are provided switching from individual tutoring to a semi supplemental instruction/study group model.

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I started at UW-Green Bay in the Fall of 2000 as an LTE in Disability Services.
The Academic Staff Student Services Specialist position was created to replace it and I accepted the position in 2002.
I am also the Tutoring Services Coordinator as of July 2005.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I am passionate about spending time with my husband of 21 years, Todd, and our three lovely, intelligent daughters, Sarah, 18, who attends U of MN, Twin Cities, Mary, 14, Preble HS, and Lily, 13, Red Smith Middle, and our Siamese Cat, Cleopatra. I enjoy great conversation over wonderful food and drink, domestic and international traveling, and all aspects of music (I was a “wedding singer”). I also love to sew, take digital photographs and listen to NPR and watch WPT! I golf in the summer, downhill ski in the winter, and walk every chance I get! I grew up in beautiful Door County, but have lived in Green Bay for the last 20 years. The surrounding campus community IS my home, living only a few country blocks away in Bay Settlement.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I am a Program Manager with the Office of Adult Degree Programs within
the Division of Outreach and Adult Access. In this capacity I am an
academic advisor and work with the rest of our team to administer the
Interdisciplinary Studies major for adult learners. My primary
responsibilities are for the marketing of the program in Northeast
Wisconsin and beyond. This includes everything from print media
promotions and brochures to TV, radio, and web-based marketing and
direct presentations to potential adult students and to local employers.

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I started at UW-Green Bay in the Fall of 2004 in the position that I
currently hold, though I have been with the UW System for almost 10
years, working for six years as Student Services Director at
UW-Marinette.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I live in Marinette with my wife, Sue, and two daughters - Mary
Kristen (13) and Katherine "Katie-Bug" (7), and the fattest cat I have
ever seen, Nigel (2). My interest in literature that blossomed in
college persists today, and I am a voracious reader. I am very
interested in history - specifically focused on 19th century America and
the American Civil War. I grew up in Central Iowa and have served
various college and university campuses in Iowa, North Carolina, and
Wisconsin. I love to travel and vacation with my family. In addition to
my family and reading, I enjoy food, movies, and a glass of wine on my
deck! I love golf though it is indifferent toward me, and am finishing
up my doctorate at UW-Madison.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I am the Head of Library Instruction and also a Reference Librarian. I lead approximately 125 library instruction sessions each year for faculty and instructors in subjects ranging from women in the performing arts to public policy analysis. I spend about a dozen hours a week at the reference desk fielding questions from students, staff and faculty.

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I started at UW-Green Bay in the Fall of 2000.
I enjoy almost all outdoor activities regardless of the season. I am an avid cyclist and bike between 2200 and 2800 miles a year. I have an extensive gun collection ranging from old west dueling pistols to modern big game rifles. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife Amy, two and 1/2 year old son Alecsander, and 5 month old son Andrue.

I work in the Web Development office, which is part of Information Services. I am the University Webmaster and my responsibilities include designing and maintaining the University's web presence and supporting other web developers.

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I have been with UW-Green Bay for over 8 years. My first five years was as Reference and Instruction Librarian, before becoming webmaster.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
Having been to 13 countries and 32 of the 50 US states I love traveling. In 2006, I plan on adding at least 2 more states and 1 country to that list. My other hobbies include sewing, scrapbooking, beading, knitting, and photography.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work in the athletic department as the Associate Athletic Director for Program Operations. My responsibilities include prepare and monitor the athletic department budget, oversight of eight sport programs, Sports Medicine department, Ticket Office, Facility Director and PSC Programming manager.

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I recently completed my 10th year of employment with UW-Green Bay. I began my employment on July 1, 1996 as Assistant Athletic Director for Program Operations. My position has grown over the past 10 years to what it is today.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I love playing and watching all kinds of sports. I love to spend time with my wife and friends, especially hanging out on decks during the summer. I love to play cards, board games and trivia. My wife and I have three cats, and yes she did convert me into a cat lover!!! I am a Chicago Cubs fan, which can be extremely painful as those who follow Major League Baseball would know.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work in the Facilities Management building as the campus planner. My job involves communication with almost everyone on campus at some point. Diversity is a standard part of everyday work. I can be involved in long range planning in one meeting and then next meeting can be about some minor repair or problem in one of our buildings. Generally, I am responsible for preparing capital building project scope and budgets, overseeing construction projects, space management records, facility records, and energy conservation measures.

I graduated from UW Green Bay in 1994 with a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies major. I also have a professional certification in Facilities Management Administration from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I was a student employee from 1989 - 1994 at Facilities Management. I became a project appointment in 1994 - 1996. In 1997 I was hired as a Program Analyst 2, then a few years later my title changed to Senior Facilities Management Specialist.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I enjoy most outdoor activities. Fishing is high on my list. For the past three years my 14 year old son, Colin and I have been heavily into musky fishing.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work in the
University Advancement Office as the Director of Grants & Development
Services. I manage staff that provide critical "behind the scenes"
support for the University's fund- and friend-raising initiatives. This
includes biographical data and records management for alumni, donors and
friends; processing and accounting for gift and pledge income;
conducting constituent research; financial management of private gifts
and investment income; and facilitating communications with alumni,
friends and employees. Advancement Services also serves as the campus
resource for technical, training and user support for our standalone
server and software program, Raiser's Edge. My responsibilities also
include grant writing for private foundations and corporations as well
as budget management for all offices in the division of University
Advancement.
What is your educational background (degree names and granting institutions)?
I earned a Master’s of Science degree in Business
Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. My area of
emphasis was public and private management, with a personalized emphasis
in Total Quality Management. My baccalaureate degree was also earned at
UW-Green Bay with a double-major in finance and non-profit management
and a minor in managerial accounting.
Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I began my career at UW-Green Bay in the Athletics
department as an Assistant to the Director of Promotions and then
accepted a position in the University Communications & Alumni Relations
Office as an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. I have been working
in the University Advancement Office since its inception in 1995. I am
proud to be able to work at my alma mater with colleagues who are also
passionate about the UW-Green Bay educational experience and who truly
want to make a difference!

I have more hobbies and interests than time to pursue
them—among my
favorites are reading, gardening, sewing and traveling. If I had more
free time, I would devote more time to my volunteer work as well as my
hobbies! And there’s never enough time to enjoy simply spending time
with family and friends...
