Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I moved back to my hometown of Green Bay in October 2004 after being
offered a program manager position in the Office of International
Education. Following a little less than one academic year serving in
that capacity, I was promoted to director in July. I enjoy working in
the Office of International Education primarily because I am able to
influence students in several positive ways. I am fortunate to have
developed friendships with many faculty and staff at this great
university.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
While having spent the majority of my adult life living in large
metropolitan areas, my wife Gina and I feel most at home in our rural
Wisconsin residence. I am at least mildly interested in almost
everything and there are few things I am unwilling to try at least once
(namely those that would kill me, get me arrested, or cause me to loose
a relationship/job). I love to travel and am lucky to have spent time in
37 countries and most states of our union. My favorite place in the
world is relaxing on our boat in Door County. I love to bicycle (mostly
road bikes) and work in the yard. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and
enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking, and kayaking. I move quickly
(those of you who see me in the hall often note that I am on a near run)
and prefer fast boats and fast cars to those which move at a
“comfortable” pace
Where do you work and what do you do?
I am the Assistant Registrar. I am
responsible for maintaining the administrative setup and data integrity
of the Advising and Student Records modules of the Student Information
System (SIS) to allow faculty, students and staff to view and engage in
administrative and self-service academic transactions. I work with the
Provost’s Office, Academic Deans and Department Chairs to maintain the
academic course catalog in SIS, and to create the Schedule of Classes
each semester.

I have 3 young daughters (ages 5, 7 &
9) and enjoy spending time with them and initiating them in some of my
passions. I am a 4-H project leader and youth soccer coach. I spend as
much time as I can at my parent’s farm just north of Kewaunee – where I
am graciously allowed to keep my horse and pony, swim, fish, hunt and
plant 5,000-1,500 trees and/or shrubs each year.
Where do you work and what do you do?

Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green
Bay.
I started at UW-Green Bay in the Fall of 2004 in the
position that I currently hold, though I have been with the UW System
for almost 10 years, working for six years as Student Services Director
at UW-Marinette.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would
ever know” about you).
I live in Marinette with my wife, Sue, and two daughters
- Mary Kristen (13) and Katherine "Katie-Bug" (7), and the fattest cat I
have ever seen, Nigel (2). My interest in literature that blossomed in
college persists today, and I am a voracious reader. I am very
interested in history - specifically focused on 19th century America and
the American Civil War. I grew up in Central Iowa and have served
various college and university campuses in Iowa, North Carolina, and
Wisconsin. I love to travel and vacation with my family. In addition to
my family and reading, I enjoy food, movies, and a glass of wine on my
deck! I love golf though it is indifferent toward me, and am finishing
up my doctorate at UW-Madison.

I recently completed my 10th year of employment with UW-Green Bay. I began my employment on July 1, 1996 as Assistant Athletic Director for Program Operations. My position has grown over the past 10 years to what it is today.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I love playing and watching all kinds of sports. I love to spend time with my wife and friends, especially hanging out on decks during the summer. I love to play cards, board games and trivia. My wife and I have three cats, and yes she did convert me into a cat lover!!! I am a Chicago Cubs fan, which can be extremely painful as those who follow Major League Baseball would know.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work in the Facilities Management building as the campus planner. My job involves communication with almost everyone on campus at some point. Diversity is a standard part of everyday work. I can be involved in long range planning in one meeting and then next meeting can be about some minor repair or problem in one of our buildings. Generally, I am responsible for preparing capital building project scope and budgets, overseeing construction projects, space management records, facility records, and energy conservation measures.
What is your educational background (degree names and granting institutions)?
I graduated from UW Green Bay in 1994 with a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies major. I also have a professional certification in Facilities Management Administration from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I was a student employee from 1989 - 1994 at Facilities Management. I became a project appointment in 1994 - 1996. In 1997 I was hired as a Program Analyst 2, then a few years later my title changed to Senior Facilities Management Specialist.
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I enjoy most outdoor activities. Fishing is high on my list. For the past three years my 14 year old son, Colin and I have been heavily into musky fishing.
Where do you work and what do you do?
I work in the
University Advancement Office as the Director of Grants & Development
Services. I manage staff that provide critical "behind the scenes"
support for the University's fund- and friend-raising initiatives. This
includes biographical data and records management for alumni, donors and
friends; processing and accounting for gift and pledge income;
conducting constituent research; financial management of private gifts
and investment income; and facilitating communications with alumni,
friends and employees. Advancement Services also serves as the campus
resource for technical, training and user support for our standalone
server and software program, Raiser's Edge. My responsibilities also
include grant writing for private foundations and corporations as well
as budget management for all offices in the division of University
Advancement.
What is your educational background (degree names and granting institutions)?
I earned a Master’s of Science degree in Business
Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. My area of
emphasis was public and private management, with a personalized emphasis
in Total Quality Management. My baccalaureate degree was also earned at
UW-Green Bay with a double-major in finance and non-profit management
and a minor in managerial accounting.
Tell us a little about your employment history with UW-Green Bay.
I began my career at UW-Green Bay in the Athletics
department as an Assistant to the Director of Promotions and then
accepted a position in the University Communications & Alumni Relations
Office as an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. I have been working
in the University Advancement Office since its inception in 1995. I am
proud to be able to work at my alma mater with colleagues who are also
passionate about the UW-Green Bay educational experience and who truly
want to make a difference!
Tell us about you (hobbies, interests, “things no one would ever know” about you).
I have more hobbies and interests than time to pursue
them—among my
favorites are reading, gardening, sewing and traveling. If I had more
free time, I would devote more time to my volunteer work as well as my
hobbies! And there’s never enough time to enjoy simply spending time
with family and friends...
