Spring 2009 Election Timeline

March 9, 2009:
Election Materials are available to the Student Body.
- March 16, 2009:
Referendum questions due. Submit approved referendum questions to Student Court Mailbox, SGA Office, University Union, by 8:30 a.m.
- March 26, 2009:
Completed Election Materials due by 3:30pm. Submit materials to the Student Court Mailbox, SGA Office, University Union.
- March 27, 2009:
Review of election materials and certification of candidates/tickets and referendum questions to appear on the Spring 2009 ballot.
- March 30, 2009:
Candidate Information Session

- April 9, 2009:
Candidate Debate
MAC 109 at 6 PM
- April 14 and 15, 2009:
Elections held online. Voting to commence at 9:00 a.m. on 4/14/09. Voting ends at 6 p.m. on 4/15/09.
- April 15, 2009:
Candidate Campaign Resource Reports Due, 6:00pm. Submit report and receipts to SGA Office, University Union
Election Results Announced 8:00 p.m. MAC 204. Results are unofficial until certified by the Student Senate at its meeting immediately following the announcement of results. Announce runoff timeline (if one is deemed necessary).

Tickets campaign
- April 17 (12 noon) - April 20 (12 noon)
Runoff election
- April 20
1:30 pm: Announce results
5:00 pm: Senate certifies results
