Getting Started

An important part of your study abroad experience is to make sure that the courses you take abroad will fulfill your academic degree requirements, whether it be general education, major/minor courses, or electives in a specific subject area.

If you are participating in a study abroad program (except most travel courses) you will meet to meet with your academic advisor(s) and complete an Academic Advising Agreement. More information will be given to you once accepted to a program.

Other helpful documents are listed below and the links to the left give specific grading equivalencies and links for each location. Please refer to the Faculty Study Abroad Advising page for helpful advice for academic advisors.
