The Women’s Leadership Program is dedicated to addressing the
unique challenges that women leaders encounter in today’s world.
Become familiar with current leadership issues important to women,
acquire knowledge and leadership skills and learn to recognize and
develop your own leadership potential.
In addition to the calendar of events, you will find a number of
useful resources including a recommended reading list (look in the column on the right), links to
additional articles and information on women’s leadership, links to
campus and community resources, and online

National Wear Red Day
February 5, 2010
Stand up and speak out against heart disease in women by wearing red on February 5. Find the GO RED display in the University Union, pick up a leaflet and a GO RED lapel pin and enter the drawing to win a GO RED hat.

Leilani Münter: Carbon Free Girl

The mission of race car driver and “Carbon Free Girl”, Leilani Münter’s Eco Dream Team is to send powerful messages to the number one spectator sport in America. She calls to action 100 million race fans in the US to make a difference by spreading environmental awareness about sustainable living alternatives, clean energy, alternative fuel vehicles, and environmental legislation. Leilani started racing cars in 2001 and spent six years working her way up the NASCAR ranks. Racing and working as a race instructor and correspondent for NASCAR. HPV (Gardasil) Vaccine
Did you know that you can get the HPV Vaccine on campus? There is a new vaccine (Gardasil) for women between the ages of 13-26 that may be effective in preventing Human Papillomavirus (HPV) strains of cervical cancer. The HPV Vaccine is available at the UWGB Counseling
and Health Center upon request. For information, contact the
