EMBI – Make your degree greener

The Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) helps strengthen the university’s leadership position in the promotion of environmental awareness and eco-friendly initiatives.

Through EMBI, students are given the opportunity to apply their skills in a professional context. Internships can range from working for non-profit organizations, to municipalities and government institutions, and to local and regional companies. Contact EMBI to find out more.

The Center for Public Affairs enhances civic engagement and quality of life in the community by conducting applied and scholarly research and technical assistance, providing students opportunities to partake in multiple activities, sponsoring educational programs to share information and dialog about civic issues, and providing a mechanism for collaboration between community organizations and citizens.

Opportunities for students include internships, service learning, honors in the major, and civic engagement. Read more
