Classroom Equipment and Instructional Technology Support

Media Services provides support and maintenance services for the instructional technology in classrooms, including projectors, televisions, VHS/DVD combo players, slide projectors, projection screens, control systems, and other instructional equipment that is permanently assigned to classrooms.

In addition to the permanent equipment, Media Services also delivers portable equipment to various locations on campus per the request of faculty and staff. We're always happy to help!

Note: There are costs associated with instructional and non-instructional use of Media Services equipment. (Any program that does not have a UW-Green Bay course number associated with it is considered "non-instructional"). Please refer to our Rates & Fees page for clarification.

When Charges Apply

We do not charge faculty and teaching staff for equipment use needs dealing with classroom instruction. For all other campus requests from staff and students involving labor and/or equipment rental, including Audio/Video duplication and editing, charges will apply based on the rates and fees established under the campus Master Fee schedule.

Portable equipment needed for classroom or department use, such as Polycom speakerphones, PC carts, document cameras, etc. is handled by Media Services. Please call ext. 2416 to request these services.

Circulating Equipment

As of January 2012, equipment available for check out has moved from Media Services to the Cofrin Library. The following equipment can be checked out at the Library’s 3rd floor Public Service desk by students, faculty, and staff:

  • Digital Voice Recorders
  • iPads
  • Kindles
  • Laptops
  • LCD Projectors
  • Microphones
  • Tabletop screens
  • Tripods
  • Webcameras
  • Wireless Presenters

Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Loan periods for all equipment are 7 days and cannot be renewed unless otherwise stated.
