Sydney King

Hello, my name is Sydney. I am a sophomore here at UWGB, and am looking forward to the semester! I'm from Oregon, Wisconsin, a small town just south of Madison. I am interested in both Environmental Science and Animal Biology, and love nature, photography, animals, and Color Guard. I am both an Environmental Science tutor and a receptionist at the Tutoring Center, so come visit me at the front desk or schedule an appointment with me if you need any help!

Choua Yang

Hi, my name is Choua Yang. I'm a new transfer student this year from Oshkosh. I'm currently majoring in Human Development, and still deciding on a minor. I work 2 jobs at a retirement community and daycare back home. I also am a youth group leader volunteer for a church. My dream job is to become a Child Life Specialist. I love to work with kids. In my spare time I like to travel, shop, and just hang out.

Alex Alberts

Guten Tag! I am Alex from Ashwaubenon, WI, which is a suburb of Green Bay. I am currently a sophomore here at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and my majors are Finance, Accounting and German with a minor in International Business. Next to my position as a tutor here on campus, I also work as an officer of our German Club, as well as in the Phoenix Bookstore as a member of the invoicing crew. In my free time, I love watching the news and series in German, watching cooking shows, and spending time with friends playing board games, or just hanging out. I really look forward to meeting you, and do not hesitate to make an appointment, even if you would just like to practice some German conversation. Bis dahin! Tschau!

Lydia DeWeese

Hello! My name is Lydia and I am a junior here at UWGB. I am a Human Biology major with an emphasis in Health Sciences studying pre-med! I am also a member of the Green Bay volleyball team so if I'm not in class, eating or at a study session, you will probably be able to find me at the Kress. Other fun facts about me, I am huge coffee-lover, a devoted dog-sitter and enjoy baking (brownies in particular). I love the sciences and how all the different subjects (biology, physics and chemistry) can tie together to help us understand life and can't wait to help others grow their love for science as well. I am always willing to help, so don't hesitate to ask me anything!

Gillian Evanoff

Hello there. As you can see from the title above, I am Gillian Evanoff. Now entering my fourth year at this university, I have declared a major in Chemistry, and am also pursuing a minor in Education, with a Broad Field Science emphasis. Originally from Two Rivers, WI, I naturally enjoy small-town, outdoor activities such as skiing or hiking. However, I most often can be found practicing jazz on upright bass, or reading a book with some tea in hand. That is, when I'm not doing homework – as a Chemistry major, I tend to get a lot of that. Nevertheless, I am absolutely in love with Chemistry in as nerdy a way as possible, and I can't wait for the opportunity to encourage my peers to work to understand – and possibly even enjoy – the subject that may once have been a dreaded nightmare, such as it once was for me.

Lillie Foxcroft

Hello, my name is Lillie. I enjoy math and I am excited to be tutoring the subject this year. I am from Oshkosh, WI and this is my second year here at UWGB. I spend a lot of my time at the Common Grounds coffee shop and the Kress center. Chances are you will see me around campus. Feel free to chat with me and please don't hesitate to stop in and visit whenever you need extra help with math. I can't wait to meet you all and wish you the best of luck in your schooling!

Julia Fursov

Hello, my name is Julia. I was born in California, raised in Wisconsin, but my roots come from Ukraine. I am a senior here at UWGB majoring in both Human Biology and Chemistry, with a minor in Spanish. I am planning to continue my education in dentistry. I love to learn, run around and explore the world around me. I also enjoy hanging around in my hammock and playing guitar. In addition to school and tutoring, I am a gymnastics coach for children. I'm looking forward to help you in the subjects you need help with!

David Ginsburg

Hello, David Ginsburg here. I'm a senior here at UWGB majoring in Engineering Technology with a mechanical focus. I'm an avid gamer and LARPer. I spend most of my weekends swinging foam at friends from around the Midwest. It will be a joy working with you folks! If you ever need anything, feel free to drop me a line.

Jessica Hannon

Hello, my name is Jessica and I am currently a sophomore at UW Green Bay! I am Majoring in Human Biology with a Health Science Emphasis! Jordan Molter

Hello, my name is Jordan. I am from Oostburg, WI and I am a sophomore studying human biology with a health science emphasis here at UWGB because science is cool and exciting. This is my first year as a tutor, and I am excited to help. My goals as a tutor is to help develop solid study habits and to help problem solving skills. In my free time, I like to either run outside, play guitar, or watch the Milwaukee Bucks. I look forward to helping out this semester!

Adriana Montejano

Hi everyone! My name is Adriana Montejano and this is my fourth and final year in UWGB. I'm double majoring in Spanish and Human Biology and this will be my second year as a tutor. I'm currently a tutor for both Spanish and biology 201 and I look forward to meeting and helping anyone that comes to me either for help with concepts or even just studying for an exam. Some things to know about me is that I'm originally from Mexico but I've lived in Green Bay for the last 13 years. I also love reading and music so if you ever see me anywhere around campus there is a high chance that you'll see me at least listening to music. However, if anyone ever has any questions feel free to ask me whenever you see me!

Harrison Pham

Hi everyone, my name is Harrison Pham and I am in my final year at UWGB. I am originally from Kenosha which is one of the southernmost towns in Wisconsin. Since I lived on the Wisconsin/Illinois border I grew up as a Bear fan, but after moving to Green Bay I became a born again Packer fan! I am majoring in Human Biology here at UWGB and really enjoy the classes and professors. Please feel free to stop down if you need any help with classes or to simply chat about future classes you might take!

Jake Stavroff

Hello, my name is Jake, and I am currently enrolled as a Human Bio major here at UWGB. Though I am pursuing an academic career in biology, I have a curiosity for just about everything. This is somewhat reflected in the classes I tutor, which include courses in mathematics, biology, computer science, and theatre (one of these things doesn't belong).

College can be tough. It can be draining. It can be dispiriting. But there is something very important that no college class can teach you to truly appreciate: have confidence in yourself. Don't lose your resolve. You're absolutely more capable of success than you may think.

Micalah Taylor

Hi, I'm Micalah and I'm originally from East Troy, WI. This is my first year at UWGB and I am very excited about what the year will bring! I enjoy doing Algebra and am eager about helping out any fellow students with any questions they may have, so don't hesitate to ask! Currently I am undecided on what I'm going to major in, but I'm a creative person, so I am thinking about majoring in Graphic Design. During my free time, I enjoy writing, drawing, photography, reading, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing. I can't wait to meet you all and hope the best for your education!

Marissa Weibel

Super senior Marissa here! Fifth and final year at UWGB. I am originally from La Crosse, WI, but I know GB has made its mark on me. In that time, I have been a tutor here for 3 years for Math 94/101, Bus Admin 216, and Acctg 300. I am a Business Administration major with a Management Emphasis, with a double minor in Accounting and Spanish. This will be my third season at Lambeau Field as an auditor with Delaware North Sportservice; that along with classes and tutoring keeps me plenty busy. When I do have free time though, I enjoy movies, music, and time spent with friends.

Rachel Whitefield

Hello, my name is Rachael. I am a junior at UWGB and this is my second year tutoring here. My major is Human Biology with an emphasis in Health Sciences because of my love for science. I am excited to tutor this year and hope everyone feels welcome and comfortable to come to me for help. To tell you more about myself, I work on the ortho/neuro floor at Bellin hospital, love my two dogs, and am an avid traveler. I am excited to meet everyone and start tutoring!

Jordan Zacharias

Hi! My name is Jordan Zacharias, and I am majoring in Education here at UWGB. I absolutely love working with children and watching them grow. This is my first year as a tutor, and I'm so excited to start helping! Aside from school, I love the outdoors, travelling, and anything coffee related (working at a coffee shop doesn't help). Feel free to come to me for help; I can't wait to meet everyone!

Faith Holewa

Hello, I am Faith Holewa! It is pronounced Huh-Lev-Ah. Most of you know me as Faith Lent, but I took my mom's maiden name recently. I am fourth year student here at good ol' UWGB. I am a History Major and an Education/Human Development Minor with an emphasis in broad-field social studies as well as a discipline in Human Development. I enjoy reading, watching netflix, and having discussion time in-class. I can be a bit talkative at times. My goal is to aid you all in different studying, reading, and note-taking strategies that will help you all succeed in class. History is pretty new to the tutoring center, so I encourage you all to spread the word!
