Phil Anschutz

Hi, my name is Phil. I am from Sturgeon Bay, WI and a junior here at UWGB. I am majoring in Business Finance and Economics. This will be my first year tutoring, but I can’t wait to start helping students. I am also on the Nordic Skiing team here on campus so if you ever see someone doing something weird with poles and “long rollerblades” it’s probably me or my team. If you ever need help all you have to do is ask!

Laura Bitter

Hi, my name is Laura Bitter. I am a transfer student from UW-Manitowoc and am a junior who is currently majoring in Human Biology with an emphasis on Health Science. I am being inducted into Tri Beta at the end of this semester and hope to be involved in some research involving biology. I work as a certified nursing assistant and hope to become a physician assistant. I love the human body and understanding how it works from the surface all the way down to the molecular level. I am a new tutor this semester, and hope to help you understand all the curiosities and connections within the human body and learn to love them.

I enjoyed teaching and tutoring very much, and I hope no one hesitates to ask for some help if it would benefit them. I live in Sobieski and enjoy spending time with my family, weightlifting, and music, and I will soon be getting back into rugby after a couple years off."Greetings!

Rob Monroe

Hi, my name is Rob, I am a returning adult student studying chemistry and biology. I have worked in the following industries: telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and medical devices. My mission critical work involved operations, project management, sales, and finance. I hold degrees in business from Marquette University with a political science minor, an MBA with a specialization in Finance and MIS from Auburn University, and I recently returned to Marquette to take the required accounting classes for the CPA examine. I have held a WI CPA license since 2011. To relieve stress, I like to read and workout. My tutoring style will be to create an inclusive, non-intimidating environment while taking complex concepts and breaking them down into understandable parts. I can’t always guarantee perfection but I will try my best to always help you.

Colin Nohr

Hi, my name’s Colin and I’m a junior at UWGB. I’m going for a major in accounting and have at least a minor in spanish at the moment. In my free time I listen to a wide variety of music, read, play games, and watch movies or some tv shows. This will be my first year tutoring any subject, and it will be a subject as broad as spanish! Learning a language can seem awkward when you’re first learning and seeing your progress isn’t something that happens overnight, but when you do recognize you’ve advanced you will be quite impressed with yourself and your new lifelong talent. Please, feel free to contact me at your leisure for anything.

Annika Paulsen

I am a junior majoring in Human Biology with the intention of applying to optometry school this summer. I previously tutored Economics and really enjoy the tutoring process because I always learn a lot too. Whether working on a specific aspect of Chemistry that is challenging you, or generally working to improve study habits, I am happy to help! I grew up in Door County and am obsessed with my dog.
