Kendaryl Jackson

I am a Business Major at UWGB, class of 2016. I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My dream job would be to work for the National Basketball Association (NBA), for Nike, or possibly coaching for a college basketball team. For the past 3 summers I've been coaching my old high school's basketball team (Pius XI) for summer leagues which is something I look forward to doing every summer. In my spare time I love to play basketball and to hang out with my close friends. An interesting fact about me would be that I am addicted to shoes.

Sydney King

Hello! My name is Sydney King. I have not declared my major yet, but I am planning on Biology. I am from Oregon, Wisconsin, a small town just south of Madison. I was in Color guard for six years, and I love to travel, meet new people, and take photographs. Studying abroad is something I plan to do in the next four years. I love animals, and hope to someday work with them. I worked for four years at an apple orchard near home and very much enjoy spending my time outdoors. I am excited to start working with The Tutoring and Learning Center this spring.

Erin Mehlhorn

Hello, my name is Erin Mehlhorn and this is my first year at UWGB. I am currently undecided on my major and minor, but have an interest in environmental science. I am from Shawano, Wisconsin and during breaks I work at Lake Aire Supper Club back home as a bartender and waitress. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends or just relaxing.

Choua Yang

Hi, my name is Choua Yang. I'm a new transfer student this year from Oshkosh. I'm currently majoring in Human Development, and still deciding on a minor. I work 2 jobs at a retirement community and daycare back home. I also am a youth group leader volunteer for a church. My dream job is to become a Child Life Specialist. I love to work with kids. In my spare time I like to travel, shop, and just hang out.

Alex Alberts

Guten Tag! I am Alex from Ashwaubenon, WI, which is a suburb of Green Bay. I am currently a sophomore here at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and my majors are Finance, Accounting and German with a minor in International Business. Next to my position as a tutor here on campus, I also work as an officer of our German Club, as well as in the Phoenix Bookstore as a member of the invoicing crew. In my free time, I love watching the news and series in German, watching cooking shows, and spending time with friends playing board games, or just hanging out. I really look forward to meeting you, and do not hesitate to make an appointment, even if you would just like to practice some German conversation. Bis dahin! Tschau!

Erika Braun

Hi, my name is Erika and I'm from Manitowoc, WI. I'm double majoring in Accounting and Business Admin – Finance and I’ll be graduating in December. This is my fourth year as a tutor and I cover various Accounting and Business Admin courses. I’m also a tax intern at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. I spend most of my time outside of work and class studying for the CPA Exam, but when I do have free time I enjoy playing volleyball, traveling, and trying new restaurants. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask!

Lydia DeWeese

Hello! My name is Lydia and I am a junior here at UWGB. I am a Human Biology major with an emphasis in Health Sciences studying pre-med! I am also a member of the Green Bay volleyball team so if I’m not in class, eating or at a study session, you will probably be able to find me at the Kress. Other fun facts about me, I am huge coffee-lover, a devoted dog-sitter and enjoy baking (brownies in particular). I love the sciences and how all the different subjects (biology, physics and chemistry) can tie together to help us understand life and can’t wait to help others grow their love for science as well. I am always willing to help, so don’t hesitate to ask me anything!

Kaitlin Glenz

Hello! My name is Kaitlin and I am from Eau Claire, WI. This will be my third year here at UWGB. I am an Accounting major with a soon to be Business Administration major (management emphasis) as well. I cover a few accounting and business classes. If you ever need help, feel free to stop in and see me!

My true goal is to apply to Veterinarian School after I`m done at Green Bay! I absolutely love animals with all my heart! I own 6 rabbits, 1 horse, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 guinea pig, and 2 fish! I love to swim and go horseback riding and I truly enjoy Biology! I can`t wait to get to know you all of you, don`t hesitate to come to me for extra help! Have a great school year!

Gillian Evanoff

Hello there. As you can see from the title above, I am Gillian Evanoff. Now entering my fourth year at this university, I have declared a major in Chemistry, and am also pursuing a minor in Education, with a Broad Field Science emphasis. Originally from Two Rivers, WI, I naturally enjoy small-town, outdoor activities such as skiing or hiking. However, I most often can be found practicing jazz on upright bass, or reading a book with some tea in hand. That is, when I’m not doing homework – as a Chemistry major, I tend to get a lot of that. Nevertheless, I am absolutely in love with Chemistry in as nerdy a way as possible, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to encourage my peers to work to understand – and possibly even enjoy – the subject that may once have been a dreaded nightmare, such as it once was for me.

Lindsey Meis

Hi! My name is Lindsey Meis and I’m currently a junior here at UWGB. I am a Human Biology major with an emphasis in Health Science and a minor in Chemistry. I’m originally from the small town of Rosholt, WI, and I love being out in the country and spending time outdoors. In addition to school, I also work at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, laughing with friends, and taking far too many naps. This is my first year as a tutor, and I am excited to meet everyone and get started!

Jordan Molter

Hello, my name is Jordan. I am from Oostburg, WI and I am a sophomore studying human biology with a health science emphasis here at UWGB because science is cool and exciting. This is my first year as a tutor, and I am excited to help. My goals as a tutor is to help develop solid study habits and to help problem solving skills. In my free time, I like to either run outside, play guitar, or watch the Milwaukee Bucks. I look forward to helping out this semester!

Jake Stavroff

"Hello, my name is Jake, and I am currently enrolled as a Human Bio major here at UWGB. Though I am pursuing an academic career in biology, I have a curiosity for just about everything. This is somewhat reflected in the classes I tutor, which include courses in mathematics, biology, computer science, and theatre (one of these things doesn't belong).

College can be tough. It can be draining. It can be dispiriting. But there is something very important that no college class can teach you to truly appreciate: have confidence in yourself. Don't lose your resolve. You're absolutely more capable of success than you may think."

Adam Ulman

Hi! I'm Adam Ulman and I'm a super senior in my final semester at UWGB. I tutor Computer Science courses here at the TLC, and can also be found working across the hall as a tutor in the Writing Center, a role I've had for 3 years now. My goal as a tutor is to help students build their critical thinking skills and develop a lifelong love of learning, no matter the subject. I'm a strong proponent of a liberal arts education and hope to spread my enthusiasm for learning to others. In addition to tutoring, I've had roles at GB as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Peer Mentor, and Camp Counselor. I'm currently an Application Engineer intern at Thrivent Financial in Appleton - a company I intend to work for after graduation. Some personal info: I'm originally from Owatonna, MN (a convenient six hour drive from Green Bay) and some of my hobbies include running, reading, and music. I'm looking forward to returning to school and working with my tutoring clients once again!

Marissa Weibel

Super senior Marissa here! Fifth and final year at UWGB. I am originally from La Crosse, WI, but I know GB has made its mark on me. In that time, I have been a tutor here for 3 years for Math 94/101, Bus Admin 216, and Acctg 300. I am a Business Administration major with a Management Emphasis, with a double minor in Accounting and Spanish. This will be my third season at Lambeau Field as an auditor with Delaware North Sportservice; that along with classes and tutoring keeps me plenty busy. When I do have free time though, I enjoy movies, music, and time spent with friends.

Rachel Whitefield

Hello, my name is Rachael. I am a junior at UWGB and this is my second year tutoring here. My major is Human Biology with an emphasis in Health Sciences because of my love for science. I am excited to tutor this year and hope everyone feels welcome and comfortable to come to me for help. To tell you more about myself, I work on the ortho/neuro floor at Bellin hospital, love my two dogs, and am an avid traveler. I am excited to meet everyone and start tutoring!

Jordan Zacharias

Hi! My name is Jordan Zacharias, and I am majoring in Education here at UWGB. I absolutely love working with children and watching them grow. This is my first year as a tutor, and I’m so excited to start helping! Aside from school, I love the outdoors, travelling, and anything coffee related (working at a coffee shop doesn’t help). Feel free to come to me for help; I can’t wait to meet everyone!
