What?
The Pastime Mini Course Series is a program designed to teach new skills
and broaden your horizons, by giving you the opportunity to do something
you’ve never done before! Previous Pastime Mini Courses have included
salsa dancing, yoga, jewelry making, cooking, and much more. It doesn’t
matter if you can’t dance, cook, or if your creative juices don’t
always flow freely – here’s your chance to learn! An instructor
will teach you, either FREE of charge or for a very limited cost. All you
have to do is sign up to reserve a spot…but hurry space is limited!
When?
Pastime Mini Courses are held once a month in various rooms throughout the
University Union, usually on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, as a part of
the continuous effort to provide weekend programming.
Why?
At UW-Green Bay, the faculty, staff, students, and campus as a whole are
dedicated to “Connecting learning to life,” and a Pastimes Mini
Course is just another way you can make those important connections. By
getting involved in this program, you can build strong connections with
other students, community members, and the various instructors that teach
our Mini Courses.
Who?
All UW-Green Bay students, faculty, staff, as well as community members
can participate in the Pastime Mini Course Series. Participants must register
prior to the actual date of the Mini Course, so watch for promotions to
make sure you secure your spot!
