Campus community celebrates life
of Mahalia Xiong

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay community took time Tuesday (Sept. 11) to celebrate and reflect on the life of Mahalia Xiong, whose body was discovered in a submerged vehicle in the Fox River on July 27. Xiong was a UW-Green Bay senior who was active on campus and would have been president of the Southeast Asian Student Union this year. Nearly 100 people attended the celebration in the Phoenix Rooms of the University Union.
