GREEN BAY-A two-day program, "Developing Successful Leaders," is scheduled Thursday and Friday, Jan. 24 and 25 at the Business Assistance Center located at 2701 Larsen Rd. Sessions are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The seminar will be conducted by Becky Stewart-Gross, founder and president of Building Bridges, Green Bay, and Tim Pflieger, president of the Team Leadership Center, Door County.

Stewart-Gross's expertise is in communication, negotiation and leadership. She founded her company in 1987 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and since moving to Green Bay in 1996 has focused on custom-designed communication training. Pflieger has extensive experience in facilitating programs on leadership, team building, collaboration, conflict resolution and employee motivation. His firm offers customized programs for a variety of audiences.

Sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center, the program serves as the core seminar for a Management Development program series that can lead to a certificate. However it is not necessary to commit to the entire series in order to enroll in the Developing Successful Leaders seminar.

Cost for the seminar is $425. If three to five individuals from the same firm attend, fees are reduced by $50 per person.
