For Immediate Release: Marketing workshop offered at Small Business Development Center GREEN BAY- A successful marketing plan is one of the important keys to getting a small business off the ground and up and running.The Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is offering a workshop, “Marketing Basics for Business Owners,” from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1. The workshop will be held at the Business Assistance Center on the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College campus, 2101 Larsen Road. The cost is $59 and pre-registration is required. Instructor Christina Trombley, director of the Small Business Development Center, has more than 15 years experience in marketing. Her workshop will provide an introduction to determining target markets, analyzing competition, building promotional calendars and evaluating marketing activity.
