They include Jennifer Barnes, Forestville; Cathy Marks, Green Bay; and Joseph Weber, Eden Prairie, Minn.

Barnes exhibited a large suite of encaustic paintings on log segments, reflecting natural process and topography.

Marks created a series of enameled brooches that featured snapshots of domesticity with comical and nostalgic overtones.

Weber created organic ceramic forms that confronted the symmetry of traditional, functional ceramics. One of his works seconded as a fundraising “bank,” which invited visitors to make donations toward children’s art programming at Green Bay’s Art Garage.

UW-Green Bay art faculty select the winners from the annual Senior Art Exhibitions. This year there were two exhibits with 10 students participating.

UW-Green Bay’s art program has more than 150 students majoring in eight different program areas, as well as art education and gallery/museum practices. Senior Art Exhibitions are held annually in the spring semester.
