For Immediate Release: Small Business Development Center offers training session for entrepreneurs GREEN BAY — A program designed to help entrepreneurs prepare a business plan for better management, or to apply for financing, will be offered in Green Bay starting Wednesday, Sept. 17.The Entrepreneurship Training Program hosted by the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a comprehensive series of classes and individual coaching designed to help entrepreneurs refine their business concept and attract financing. The goal is to complete a business plan that new or existing businesses can use to improve business management, apply for financing or develop new strategic initiatives. The 10-week program is offered at the Business Center in Green Bay, 2701 Larsen Road. The class will meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday evenings starting Sept. 17 with a two-week break over Thanksgiving. The Wisconsin Department of Commerce will provide a 75-percent tuition waiver through the Small Business Development Center to qualified candidates prior to starting coursework.
