For Immediate Release:
UW-Green Bay Chancellor search Web site includes survey; public forum addedGREEN BAY - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Chancellor Search and Screen Committee has launched a Web site dedicated to the latest information regarding the search for the University’s fifth chancellor.
The site, http://www.uwgb.edu/chancellorsearch/, invites interested campus and community members to share in the process of finding the next chancellor by participating in a short survey.
The search committee will use input gathered from the nine-question survey to find a quality leader who will succeed Chancellor Bruce Shepard, who resigned this summer to become president of Western Washington University.
The survey, which will be kept online until Sept. 22, is open to everyone in the community. Responses may be kept anonymous, and participants may answer any or all of the nine questions. Additional feedback can be left for the search committee by following the link on the site’s toolbar.
Public insight, comments and recommendations will inform the search committee and bring fresh ideas and important concerns to light regarding the next chancellor, who will lead the University through the next phase of the Growth Agenda for Wisconsin and beyond.
The Web site also features the position announcement as approved by the UW System Board of Regents, a timeline of the search process and timely updates regarding the search.
