UW-Green Bay degree for technical college graduates
is topic of session in Sturgeon Bay

GREEN BAY-An information session about the newest University of Wisconsin-Green Bay bachelor's degree-one specifically designed for technical college graduates-will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26 in Room 147 of the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College campus, 229 N. 14th Ave., in Sturgeon Bay.

Eric Craver of the UW-Green Bay Adult Degree Programs Office will explain the Bachelor of Applied Studies (B.A.S.) degree and answer questions.

The program leading to the B.A.S. allows transfer of up to 60 credits from work at NWTC or other accredited technical colleges to count toward the UW-Green Bay degree. The coursework at UW-Green Bay builds on an applied associate degree with a curriculum of liberal learning. Each student also chooses an area of emphasis. To accommodate working adults, the program offers flexible means of working toward the degree, including weekend and evening courses and courses online.

Information about the event and about UW-Green Bay Adult Degree Programs in general is available by calling (920) 465-2423 or (800) 621-2313 or by e-mail to adultdegrees@uwgb.edu or online at www.uwgb.edu/adultdegrees.
