UW-Green Bay Business Center offers 'First Steps' seminars
for new entrepreneurs

GREEN BAY-Prospective new entrepreneurs who want to begin businesses have three opportunities this spring to attend a seminar that will help them plan. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center will offer "First Steps to Starting Your Business" three times between March and June at the Business Assistance Center, 2701 Larsen Rd.

Seminars will be presented:
Saturday, March 1 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, April 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 7 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Sessions will be led by Christina Trombley, director of the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UW-LaCrosse and has more than 15 years of experience in public relations, advertising, and sales. Trombley has presented at national events and is a regular presenter on a variety of subjects throughout the Midwest.

Cost for the seminar is $25, and additional business associates representing the same organization pay $20 each. Pre-registration is required and may be made online at www.uwgb.edu/sbdc or by calling (920) 496-2114.
