For Immediate Release: Small Business Center offers 'Leading Change' seminar GREEN BAY-"Leading Change: Strategies for Guiding and Motivating People During Turbulent Times" is the topic of a seminar offered by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Business Assistance Center, 2701 Larsen Rd.The seminar is targeted to business owners, managers, supervisors, and others who need to understand the emotional effects of change on people and on business performance. Seminar presenter Jeff Russell, co-director of Russell Consulting, Inc., Madison, specializes in helping organizations respond to the challenges of continuous change. He has worked with Fortune 500 firms, social and public sector organizations, and small family businesses. He holds a master's degree in industrial relations from UW-Madison and has taught courses at UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, and UW-Green Bay. Russell will introduce a model for guiding people through change, and help participants explore strategies for increasing employee resilience and strengthen their capacity to thrive on change. The seminar fee of $229 per person covers instruction, materials, lunch and refreshment breaks. The fee for each additional person from the same organization is $199.
