World cultures unite at dance performance

GREEN BAY-The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will host the "One Universe, Many faces" dance performance by the Natyarpana Dance Company at 8 p.m. Friday, April 18 in the University Union's Christie Theater on campus, 2420 Nicolet Drive.

The event is free and open to the public.

The performance is an innovative dance ballet that honors and unites African, Hmong, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian and Arabic cultures and styles.

The production is part of the American Intercultural Center's month-long celebration of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival. The event is sponsored by the Southeast Asian Student Union.
