thank you,
and 'nice work!'
With your involvement, 2007 has been a milestone year
for your University. From the Growth Agenda to record private philanthropy
to the opening of the new Kress Events Center, campus/community/alumni
partnerships have driven our success.
I'm fond of saying 'communities support universities that support communities,'
and today's UW-Green Bay proves the point. People recognize this institution's
importance to the New North region.
Our graduates play a key role. These pages offer just a sampling of
the alumni CEOs and CFOs who help power economic growth with local
employers including Integrys, Pomp's Tire and Pioneer Metal Finishing,
and in keystone industries such as food processing and paper converting.
Their statewide impact is significant, too. S.C. Johnson, Kohler and
Schneider National - the top three names on the prestigious 'Wisconsin
75' list of the largest closely held companies - all have UW-Green
Bay alumni in prominent leadership positions, as profiled here.
Thank you for your excellent work in helping us "Connect learning to
life." Working together, we have accomplished great things. Working
together, we will ensure ever-increasing opportunities for tomorrow's
students and alumni to lead our future growth.
